IELTS পরীক্ষায় Right Form of Verbs-এর গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম। নিচে এর ৫টি মূল পয়েন্ট দেওয়া হলো:

Grammatical
Range and Accuracy: রাইটিং এবং স্পিকিং মডিউলে ভালো ব্যান্ড স্কোর (৭+) নিশ্চিত করতে এটি সরাসরি ভূমিকা রাখে।

Clarity
of Meaning: ভার্বের সঠিক ফর্ম ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষক বুঝতে পারেন আপনি বর্তমান, অতীত নাকি ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে কথা বলছেন।
3.
Task
1 Data Description: বিশেষ করে রাইটিং টাস্ক-১-এ গ্রাফ বা চার্টের ট্রেন্ড ব্যাখ্যা করার জন্য সঠিক Tense এবং Verb প্রয়োগ করা জরুরি।
4.
Avoiding
Confusion: ভার্বের ভুল ব্যবহার বাক্যের অর্থ বদলে দিতে পারে, যা নেতিবাচক মার্কিং-এর কারণ হয়।

Complex
Sentence Construction: প্যাসিভ ভয়েস (Passive Voice) এবং কন্ডিশনাল সেন্টেন্স তৈরিতে ভার্বের সঠিক রূপ জানা অপরিহার্য।
1. Subject-Verb Agreement (Singular/Plural)
If the subject is 3rd
Person Singular (He, She, It, or a single name), add s/es
to the base verb in Present Indefinite.

Rule: Subject (3rd Person Singular) + Verb + s/es.
·
Example: He writes (write) an
essay.
2. Universal Truth & Habitual Fact
চিরন্তন সত্য বা অভ্যাসগত কাজের ক্ষেত্রে সবসময় Present Indefinite Tense
হয়।

Example: The sun rises (rise) in the
east.
3. Progressive Actions (Now/At present)
বাক্যে Now, at this moment, currently থাকলে Present Continuous Tense হয়।
·
Example: Global temperatures are rising (rise) rapidly.
4. Just, Already, Yet, Recently
এই শব্দগুলো থাকলে বাক্যটি Present Perfect Tense
(have/has + $V_3$) হয়।

Example: I have already finished (finish) my speaking practice.
5. Past Markers (Yesterday, Ago, Long since)
অতীত নির্দেশক শব্দ থাকলে Past Indefinite Tense
($V_2$) ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Example: The government passed (pass) the
law last year.
6. Modal Auxiliaries
Can, could, may,
might, shall, should, will, would, must-এর পর ভার্বের Base Form বসে।

Example: One should follow
(follow) the instructions.
7. Passive Voice (IELTS Writing Task 1/2)
কাজটি যখন নিজে না করে অন্যের দ্বারা করা হয়, তখন $Be-Verb + V_3$ হয়।

Example: Data is collected
(collect) from various sources.
8. Since (Time Duration)
'Since' বা 'For' থাকলে সাধারণত Present Perfect Continuous Tense হয়।

Example: It has been raining
(rain) since morning.
9. Preposition + Verb
To ব্যতীত অন্য সব Preposition (in, on,
for, of, by, with, without) এর পর ভার্বের সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়।

Example: He is fond of reading (read)
novels.
10. To-Infinitive
সাধারণত 'To' এর পর ভার্বের Base Form বসে।

Example: I want to achieve (achieve)
a Band 8.
11. While + Verb
While-এর ঠিক পরেই ভার্ব থাকলে তার সাথে ing যোগ হয়। তবে While-এর পর Subject থাকলে Past Continuous হয়।

Example: While walking (walk) in
the park, I saw him.
12. Had better, Would rather, Let, Make
এগুলোর পর ভার্বের Base Form বসে (To বসে না)।

Example: You had better consult (consult) a
doctor.
13. Complex Sentences (Since/As/If)
IELTS-এ complex sentences খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
·
Rule: If + Present Indefinite + Future Indefinite.
·
Example: If it rains, we will stay (stay)
home.
14. Passive with Modals
মডাল ভার্বের প্যাসিভ করার সময় $Modal + be + V_3$ হয়।

Example: The problem can be solved (solve)
easily.
15. Singular Indefinite Pronouns
Each, every, anyone,
someone থাকলে ভার্ব সবসময় Singular হয়।
