Reading Comprehension
Farah was a simple girl. She believed everything and anything.
Her friends found it amusing. They would tell her tall tales and Farah would
always believe them. One day, while walking home from school, she came across
an old man. He seemed to have lost something. Farah approached him and asked if
she could help. He said that he was looking for his magic coin.
At first Farah thought that he was joking but he insisted that
he was really looking for his magic coin. So Farah looked for it and eventually
found it. The old man was so overjoyed. He thanked Farah. Before he went off,
he took something out of his pocket and pressed it into Farah's hand. She
looked and saw that it was another magic coin. "Believe," he said.
When Farah got home, she saw that there was nothing to eat.
"I wish I had a burger," she said. Instantly, one appeared. She
looked at the magic coin and smiled. It was true! When she told her friends,
they just laughed at her and said she had been tricked, but Farah knew better.
